Ditto the Garth panel and that fabulous slice Euro-noir from Dieter Lumpen – such a great series! Sad news about Dan Green, whom I also remember palling around with JR Jr. in the Redan Place office pre- or post-UKCAC that year.
Seeing (and looking at - bit of a difference) these panels individually really does emphasise the design & compositional skills of these artists, and why panels were appropriated/borrowed/used for inspiration by ‘pop’ artists.

Nice selection of panels. I love that "SCREAM!" in the Garth panel. Makes a change from "EEEEK!"
