Fab photos Steve, as always. Really sorry to hear about your dad. I think my dad absolutely fostered my love of SF, film noir, and even comics, so when I saw the original Alien (probably still my fave) I was in heaven, despite almost having a conniption during the "chest-burster" scene. Firstly, sorry to hear about your dad! What a lovely tribute.

Alien and Jaws were the stuff of childhood trauma on rental video in the early eighties. I'm looking forward to seeing Alien: Romulus with an awesome uncle who introduced me to Alien far too young!

Sorry for your loss Steve. Lost my Dad a couple of years ago and like you he took me to a few films he perhaps shouldn’t have (cert AA & X) I particularly remember Rollerball (James Caan at his peak?) and Manitou (Tony Curtis at his most ridiculous). Love those films to this day!
